- Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with trade clients, ensuring that Air India remains their preferred choice for travel and transportation solutions. The Senior Associate will serve as the primary point of contact, addressing business-related matters and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. - Sales Target Monitoring & Achievement:
Collaborate with the regional sales team to monitor and assess the progress of sales targets on a regular basis—monthly, quarterly, and annually. The Senior Associate will work proactively to ensure that sales objectives are met and exceeded by effectively managing and nurturing client accounts. - Product Knowledge & Communication:
Regularly communicate updates to trade clients, including information about new offers, products, services, and developments at Air India. The Senior Associate will be responsible for ensuring clients are always informed and can make decisions based on the latest offerings. - Business Growth & Opportunity Identification:
The Senior Associate will identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing accounts, as well as pursue new business ventures to expand Air India’s market presence. A successful Senior Associate will collaborate closely with multiple departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service. The Senior Associate will monitor competitor activities and emerging market trends. The role requires close coordination with the marketing and pricing teams to design and roll out promotions, discount offers, and market penetration strategies. The Senior Associate will develop comprehensive account plans that outline sales strategies, revenue targets, and actions needed to maximize business opportunities. Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in sales, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience in the airline industry.
- Education: A graduate degree in any stream is required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Salesforce (preferred).
