Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Post-graduate degree in Psychology with clinical exposure
- A minimum of three years of experience in clinical or organizational settings, OR at least two years of experience working as a Psychologist in IAF Boarding Centres
- Desirable:
- M.A or M.Phil in Clinical Psychology with an RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) license
- At least two years of experience as an Aviation Psychologist
- Essential:
- Age Limit: Applicants must be no older than 65 years as of January 15, 2025 (the final date for application submission).
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaboration with HR & Medical Teams: Partner with Human Resources and medical personnel to ensure accurate psychological evaluations of Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs) during their selection process.
- Training and Awareness: Lead sessions for ATCOs on topics related to mental well-being, healthy lifestyles, and preventative health practices.
- Mental Health Assessments: Perform mental status evaluations, administer psychological assessments, and interpret the results to assist with diagnosis.
- Counseling and Therapy: Provide individual therapy or counseling to ATCOs and their families as necessary.
- Travel: Travel to various airports to deliver lectures on mental health promotion.
- Data Management: Maintain confidential psychological records for ATCOs.
- Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality and foster a supportive and positive working atmosphere.
Remuneration
- The selected consultant will receive a fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only), inclusive of all payments.
- Note: There will be no additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), Residential Accommodation, Medical Reimbursement, etc. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) will be applicable as per government rules.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- Period of Engagement: The contract will be for one year, with an option for extension based on performance.
- Leave Policy:
- Eligible for 15 days of leave per year on a pro-rata basis.
- Unused leave cannot be carried forward or encashed.
- Absence beyond 12 days will result in deductions from the monthly remuneration.
- Termination of Agreement: AAI can terminate the contract under the following conditions:
- If the information provided by the candidate is false.
- If the consultant is unable to meet performance expectations.
- Failure to meet deadlines or quality standards.
- Violation of professional ethics or integrity.
- Notice Period: One-month notice or remuneration in lieu of the notice period.
- No Travel Allowance:
- No TA/DA is provided for joining, completion of the assignment, or interview.
- However, TA/DA will be reimbursed for official travel with prior approval from the competent authority.
