Job Opportunity at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for Supervisors in Signaling & Telecommunication (S&T) – Mumbai Project

Vacancy Details

DMRC is looking to fill a total of 8 Supervisor (S&T) positions for the Mumbai project. These positions are open on Deputation or Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) basis.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • Essential: A full-time Diploma (minimum 3 years) or higher qualification in the following fields:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Electronics Engineering
    • Electronics & Communication Engineering
    • Information Technology (IT)
    • Computer Science Engineering
    • Electronics, Instrumentation & Control
    • Instrumentation Engineering
    • Instrumentation & Control Engineering
      or
    • Any Science Graduate from a recognized university.

2. Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in the Signaling and Telecommunication (S&T) department in a government organization such as Railways, CPSUs, or Metro organizations.
  • Experience in working with computerized systems is essential.

3. Age Limit (as on January 1, 2025)

  • For PRCE: Minimum age of 55 years and maximum age of 62 years.
  • For Deputation: Maximum age limit is 55 years.

4. Additional Eligibility

  • Candidates currently employed in government organizations (Railways, CPSUs, or Metro organizations) can also apply, provided they opt for retirement through Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) or otherwise before joining DMRC.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Supervisors will be responsible for overseeing all S&T-related works associated with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Mumbai project. Key responsibilities include managing Signaling & Telecommunication operations, ensuring project progress, coordinating teams, and working towards the successful implementation of project objectives.

Pay and Benefits

  • For Deputation Basis: Selected candidates will continue to draw their parent department pay along with deputation allowance, as applicable under relevant rules.
  • For PRCE Basis: The candidates will receive a consolidated salary based on their retired pay scale. The remuneration is as follows:
    • Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400): Rs. 50,000 per month
    • Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400): Rs. 56,200 per month
    • Level-8 and above: Rs. 72,600 per month

In addition to the salary, eligible candidates will also receive House Rent Allowance (HRA) or Lease facility and other benefits according to DMRC’s policy.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a personal interview, and candidates will also need to undergo a medical fitness examination. The medical test will evaluate candidates based on A-1/A-3 medical standards, and candidates who fail to meet the required medical criteria will not be considered for employment.
