Educational Qualifications

Option 1:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Commerce, or Shastri (Sanskrit) with at least two school-level subjects.
- Possess a B.Ed., a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., or a 2-year B.Ed. (Special Education) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Option 2:
- Complete a 4-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. program from an NCTE-approved institution, specializing in two school-level subjects.

English, Odia, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Indian History, Indian Geography, and Indian Polity.
Additionally, all candidates must have passed the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET).
