About the Role
The Lead – Curriculum Design & Projects will spearhead the development and implementation of innovative, high-quality service training materials designed to elevate the skills and service delivery of our cabin crew. This role requires strategic vision, creative flair, and a passion for service excellence. You will ensure that Air India’s brand identity is consistently represented in all service-related training content.
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Design Strategy
- Develop a comprehensive content strategy for cabin crew training, ensuring alignment with Air India’s service standards and brand identity.
- Design interactive and multimedia-rich training modules, including e-learning, virtual, self-paced, and blended formats.
- Create service manuals, guidelines, and impactful lesson plans incorporating case studies and real-life scenarios.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to align technical competency with training objectives.
2. Multimedia Content Production
- Oversee the creation of high-quality multimedia content, including videos, animations, and interactive modules, ensuring engagement and effectiveness.
3. Workshops & Service Excellence
- Design and facilitate hands-on workshops to enhance the cabin crew’s understanding and delivery of service excellence.
4. Brand Representation Guidelines
- Develop and enforce guidelines that ensure consistent and exemplary brand representation in service delivery.
5. Communication Materials
- Collaborate with the Communication Department to produce service excellence communication materials for internal use.
6. Quality Control
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in training materials and processes. Conduct regular audits to ensure alignment with brand values.
7. Team Leadership
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of 8-10 professionals, including content developers, graphic designers, and animators. Drive the team towards achieving organizational objectives.

- Expertise in using multimedia development tools and managing projects efficiently.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Communications, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in content development, instructional design, or similar roles, ideally within the aviation industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multimedia software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in a relevant specialization.
- Over 12 years of progressive experience managing and leading content development initiatives.
- Proven track record in service excellence training and crafting multimedia-rich educational content.
