Role Overview: Officer/Executive – CarGo Operations
The Officer/Executive – CarGo Operations is an essential role in the smooth functioning of cargo logistics within the aviation industry. In this position, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to cargo transport, ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently and on time. You will be part of the team that ensures IndiGo’s cargo operations run without a hitch.
Eligibility Criteria
Before you head to the interview, make sure you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must be graduates from a recognized board or university.
- If it’s found that your educational qualifications are not from a recognized institution, your job offer or employment may be canceled.
- Skills & Experience:
- Good Communication Skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Willing to Work in Rotational Shifts: This role may require you to work different shifts, so flexibility is important.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Cargo operations can be fast-paced, so the ability to stay calm and work under pressure is a key requirement.
- Cargo Operations Experience: Although prior experience in cargo operations is preferred, it’s not mandatory.
- Physical Appearance:
- No visible tattoos or body art are allowed. This is a standard requirement for most roles in the aviation industry, where appearance is important.
- Other Conditions:
- If you’ve been interviewed by IndiGo in the past, please note that you can only reapply after 6 months.

- Updated CV/Resume (with a recent photo)

- 2 Passport-sized Photographs
- Valid Passport (issued from 2021 onwards), along with a Police Verification Certificate
- For Experienced Candidates: If you have prior work experience, bring your Relieving Letter, Experience Letter, and AEP (Aviation Entry Permit) surrender copy
