Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Eligibility Requirements: The candidate must fulfill the age, educational qualifications, experience, and other criteria as per the Recruitment Rules set by the User Department for the post they are applying for.
- Determination of Eligibility: The educational qualification, age, experience, and other eligibility requirements will be considered as per the criteria stated in the advertisement, with the reference date being 14/02/2025.
Age Relaxation
The following age concessions are permissible for different categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Persons with Disabilities) + UR/EWS: 10 years
- PwBD + SC/ST: 15 years
- PwBD + OBC: 13 years
- Departmental Candidates:
- For regular Government servants with at least three years of continuous service (applicable only to Central Government Civilian Employees and employees of all Departments/Autonomous/Local Bodies of Govt. of NCT of Delhi):
- Group B Posts: Up to 5 years for Group ‘B’ posts in the same line or allied cadres, where prior service is useful for the efficient discharge of duties, as per DoP&T norms.
- For regular Government servants with at least three years of continuous service (applicable only to Central Government Civilian Employees and employees of all Departments/Autonomous/Local Bodies of Govt. of NCT of Delhi):
- Ex-Servicemen (Group B, Non-Gazetted):
- Period of military service plus 3 years (maximum up to the age of 55 years).
General Instructions for Candidates
- Vacancy Selection: The Board selects candidates based on the vacancies reported by user departments. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease, and the Board is not liable for any damages if the vacancy is reduced or cancelled.
- Reservation and Disabilities: The implementation of reservation policies and suitability of posts for benchmark disabilities are under the jurisdiction of the user departments. The Board will consider the RPwD Act, 2016, guidelines in accordance with the concerned notification.
- Changes in Advertisement: The Board reserves the right to modify or cancel any part of the advertisement at any stage.
- Examination Centres: The exam will be held only in Delhi/NCR, and no request for changes in exam center or date will be accepted.
- Examination Procedure: The Board may cancel the examination if any malpractice or unfair means are detected. Any examination center may be changed at the discretion of the Board.
- Admit Card and Candidature: The issuance of an admit card or appearing for the exam does not guarantee the final selection. The candidate’s eligibility will be evaluated based on Recruitment Rules.
- Prohibited Items: The use of electronic devices such as calculators, mobile phones, and digital gadgets is prohibited at the exam centers.
- Dress Code: Candidates are required to wear light clothes with half sleeves and slippers/sandals with low heels.
- Discrepancies: In case of discrepancies in advertisements across different languages, the English version will prevail.
- Misconduct: Any false information, use of unfair means, impersonation, or tampering with documents will lead to cancellation of the candidature and legal action.
- Action against Misconduct: Candidates involved in any malpractices, such as using unfair means, misbehaving during the exam, or possessing prohibited items, will face serious consequences including debarment and police involvement.
