Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
    • Minimum age: 21 years
    • Maximum age: 30 years
    • Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates (maximum age 35 years).
  • Educational Qualification (as on 01.01.2025):
    • Minimum: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
    • SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates: Minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
    • Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computers (including spreadsheets, word processing, emails, etc.) is essential. Preferably, candidates should possess a certificate or diploma in computer operations.
    • Language Requirement: Proficiency in Khasi or Garo is mandatory. Candidates should have passed either of these languages during their Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or equivalent examination. Alternatively, candidates may choose to undergo a proficiency examination in either language.

Application Fee:

  • General Candidates: ₹400 (Rupees four hundred only)
  • SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates: ₹300 (Rupees three hundred only)
  • Payment Method: The application fee must be paid online via NEFT, IMPS, or online transfer to the Bank’s account. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Selection Process:

  1. Written Test:
    The written test will consist of objective type questions in the following areas:
    • General Awareness
    • Banking Awareness
    • Economic Awareness
    • Reasoning Ability
    • Computer Aptitude
    • Quantitative Aptitude
    • Data Analysis and Interpretation
    • English Language
  2. Interview:
    Candidates who pass the written test will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on the combined marks from the written test and interview.

Probation Period and Salary:

  • Probation Period: 12 months (extendable at the discretion of the Bank)
  • Initial Salary: Basic pay of ₹45,114 per month, along with admissible Dearness Allowance (DA).
  • After Probation: Upon successful completion of probation and training, candidates will be absorbed into the Bank’s services, and entitled to other allowances and benefits as per the Staff Rules.

  5. Disqualification:
